192kbps is generally sufficient. For high-quality music, 320kbps is recommended.

Exporting to WAV copies the original track without compression, so nothing is lost. MP3 and AAC re-encode, but there is no point setting a bitrate above the source. Extracting a 128 kbps soundtrack to a 320 kbps MP3 does not improve anything — it only makes the file bigger.

This tool only works on files already on your device — there is no field for pasting a link, and no server fetches the video for you. Choose a file you recorded yourself or downloaded legitimately. Pulling the soundtrack out of someone else's work and redistributing it can infringe copyright.

If you just want to listen or share it, MP3 is the safest choice — it opens on every device and app and stays small. Pick WAV when the audio is headed into an editor, since it is lossless and survives further processing. AAC is the better pick for Apple-centric workflows or when you want slightly cleaner sound at the same file size.
